Henry's Hot Rods values reliable professionals who take pride in their work and enjoy solving complex fabrication challenges.Role Description The Fabrication Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in El Dorado Hills, CA, responsible for producing high-quality custom components for hot rods and specialty vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include welding, machining, and metal fabrication for frames, brackets, panels, and custom parts, as well as working with sheet metal to form, cut, and finish components to exact specifications. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings, measurements, and instructions, setting up and operating shop equipment, and performing fitment, mock-up, and installation of fabricated parts on vehicles. The Fabrication Specialist will collaborate with technicians and builders to meet project timelines, maintain a clean and safe work area, and communicate with customers and team members about progress and technical considerations.Qualifications Strong metal fabrication skills, including Metal Fabrication and Sheet Metal work.Proficiency in Welding techniques for automotive and structural applications.Experience with Machining, including the safe and accurate use of mills, lathes, and related equipment.Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and support a positive client experience.Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements, and translate them into precise fabrication work.Commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to shop safety procedures.Previous experience in custom automotive, motorsports, or related fabrication environments is highly beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in welding or fabrication are a plus.Reliable work ethic, strong attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
