Job description
Purple Drive Technologies LLC is hiring a full-time Field Service Technician specializing in UPS and power systems in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Join a collaborative energy solutions team and help maintain critical power infrastructure customers depend on.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair UPS and power systems at customer sites.
- Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshoot equipment, and resolve technical issues.
- Provide timely customer service and explain system operation and maintenance.
- Document service work, project progress, and customer feedback.
- Work with engineering, sales, and technical support teams to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Continue professional education to stay current with industry practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in electronics, electrical technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals.
- One to three years of related field experience.
- Experience with UPS technology and power systems preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostic and repair tools and software.
- NICET or equivalent industry certification is a plus.
