Hermus Chimwaza is looking for a friendly and approachable Gardener/Handyman to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa . This part-time role offers a great chance to maintain beautiful outdoor spaces and provide essential handyman services, contributing positively to our vibrant community. Key Responsibilities Perform regular gardening tasks including planting, pruning, weeding, and watering to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive. Provide caretaking services to ensure properties are well-maintained and orderly. Walk and care for dogs, ensuring their safety and happiness during outdoor activities. Carry out handyman duties such as minor repairs and general maintenance around the properties. Complete painting jobs as needed to refresh buildings and outdoor structures. Work collaboratively with team members to assess property needs and prioritize tasks efficiently. Monitor property conditions and report any major maintenance issues promptly. Required and Preferred Qualifications Proven skills in gardening, caretaking, dog walking, and handyman services. Experience with painting and basic repair work is preferred. Flexible and adaptable attitude, ready to handle a variety of tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. No formal education required; practical experience is highly valued.
