GENERAL WORKER (STORES)

Position: General Worker (Stores)

Department: Mussels & Oysters
Reporting to: Stores Manager
Location: Saldanha

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cut and splice rope
• Prepare buoys, rope, and mussel sock to go to sea
• Pack and store floats and ropes in the storage yard
• Maintain an organized and clean storage area
• Assist with boat and maintenance operations
• Conduct beach cleanups and retrieve lost infrastructure.
• Assist with other general tasks as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability and willingness to lift and move a weight of approximately 15kg
• Ability and willingness to perform regular activities of bending, stooping, and lifting
• Previous experience working in stores would be advantageous.
• Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Clean criminal record.
