About the role
JR Performance Horses is seeking help with grooming and general barn chores. The work is physically demanding and hard and dirty.
Responsibilities
- Groom, saddle and lunge horses.
- Check and clean waterers, remove cobwebs, move hay and grain, and handle other housekeeping chores to keep things looking nice.
Requirements
- Horse experience is required.
- A driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Reliable daily attendance is expected; there is zero tolerance for attendance issues.
- This is not a riding assistant position; no riding is involved.
- Applicants should avoid recurring personal drama involving partners, hookups or family.
Total hours and start time can be flexible. Both positions pay better than Walmart, and the work is expected to be harder than that of a Walmart greeter.
