Pressence Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney specializing in Commercial Property Insurance to join our dynamic legal team in Houston, TX. This full-time role is essential in managing complex litigation cases, negotiating settlements, and ensuring regulatory compliance to protect our insurance clients' interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a commercial property insurance litigation caseload, including pre-trial and trial preparations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong cases and provide strategic advice.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations while representing them in negotiations and litigation proceedings.
- Prepare and review pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other legal documents.
- Conduct client interviews to gather facts and develop effective case strategies.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Stay current on changes in insurance law and regulatory compliance to best serve clients.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Active Bar Admission in Texas is mandatory.
- 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably focused on insurance law.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and e-discovery software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience in trial preparation and comprehensive case management.
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory compliance requirements.
