High School Math Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in Panamá, Panamá, Panama. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum and encourage student participation. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, homework assignments, and group projects, providing constructive feedback. Implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages communication, collaboration, and respect among students. Organize and participate in school events and math competitions to enhance the learning experience and community involvement. Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Strong skills in Mathematics, Organization, and Critical Thinking. Excellent Interpersonal Skills and a demonstrated ability to connect with high school students. Experience with Instructional Techniques and Differentiation to support all learners. Patience, Communication, and Adaptability in a dynamic educational environment. Preferred: Relevant teaching certifications or endorsements in Mathematics education. Preferred: Familiarity with educational software and tools that support both instruction and assessment. Teachers work closely together, sharing resources and best practices to enhance instructional effectiveness. You will report directly to the Secondary Coordinator, who supports a culture of continuous improvement and open communication. Regular meetings are held to discuss curriculum development, student performance reviews, and departmental goals. Cross-functional collaboration occurs with other subject departments to develop and implement numerous interdisciplinary projects that deepen student engagement and understanding of mathematics in real-world scenarios.
