Job description
Jay queen is looking for a skilled Freelance Editor to transform raw content into polished, publish-ready materials. This part-time remote role based in Union, Kentucky, requires expertise in content, video, and academic editing to ensure flawless grammar, narrative flow, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Editing & Proofreading: Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors.
- Structural Refinement: Improve content flow, clarify complex ideas, and maintain structural integrity by applying the 5 C's of editing: Clarity, Consistency, Cohesion, Conviction, and Correctness.
- Style Alignment: Ensure all content strictly follows our brand voice, tone, and in-house style guidelines.
- Revision Management: Collaborate with the team and manage multiple revision rounds to guarantee total satisfaction.
Compensation: $68 per hour
