As a Home Care Assistant, you'll build meaningful relationships while providing personalized, one-on-one care in clients' homes. Every day offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference by promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

⏰ Full-Time Scheduling

Our Home Care Assistants provide care when our clients need it most. Full-time shifts are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, based on client needs.

Full-Time Requirements

Minimum of 30 hours per week60 hours per biweekly pay period16 weekend hours per month4 holiday hours every other holiday

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll travel to clients' homes to provide personalized, non-medical care based on each individual's Care Plan.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Traveling to clients' homes throughout the Messiah Lifeways service areaAssisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingAssisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, including the use of mechanical lifts when properly trainedHelping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environmentIdentifying and reporting safety concerns within the homeCompleting client documentation and visit notes at the end of each shiftParticipating in care team meetings as neededProviding compassionate companionship while promoting each client's dignity, independence, and well-being
