Job description
We are seeking a skilled Ignition Technician for a contract position in Boise, Idaho. This role is essential in the locksmithing industry and offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical aptitude to solve ignition-related issues. As an Ignition Technician, you will be part of a collaborative work environment where attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are critical in successfully addressing client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing ignition systems and related components.
- Utilizing locksmithing skills to rekey or replace locks as necessary.
- Providing customers with accurate and timely service while ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintaining detailed records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborating with team members to address complex problems and improve processes.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
Required and preferred qualifications
- A valid drivers license.
- The tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
- Your own reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Proven locksmithing skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in customer service roles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Technical aptitude with mechanical systems.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job. This position will involve working closely with a team of technicians and may require interaction with customers on a daily basis. You'll report to the team lead or manager, and there will be opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with other departments as needed.
