Job description
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query (M).
- Strong understanding of Power BI data modelling and analytical data modelling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modelling, and Star Schema Design.
- Experience handling large datasets and translating complex business requirements into reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: Databricks – SQL Warehouses and Lakehouse integration with Power BI; Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS); Azure Synapse Analytics; Azure Data Factory (ADF); Microsoft Fabric; Enterprise Data Governance and Data Quality; Python / R; Agile and DevOps practices; experience supporting enterprise or public-sector data platforms.
- Candidates must currently be based in Toronto, GTA, or nearby Ontario locations.
