Internal Auditor – Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Vedanti Shinde is hiring a full-time Internal Auditor in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The role is with Shah Kapadia and Associates and is suitable for candidates with 2–3 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance. Fresh graduates with strong academic knowledge are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting internal audits across departments.
• Review financial records, transactions, and accounting entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify process gaps or weaknesses.
• Prepare audit working papers, reports, and recommendations.
• Verify compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct stock, cash, and operational audits as required.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Coordinate with departments to collect data and clarify findings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
• Two to three years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance; freshers with strong academic knowledge may also apply.

Required Skills

• Clear understanding of auditing concepts and business processes, including O2C, P2P, R2R, and HR/payroll.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, or Tally is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
