Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sewage and effluent treatment plants daily to maintain optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting plant operations promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment functions efficiently.
• Document and report any deviations from operational standards or procedures accurately.
• Ensure strict compliance with local and national Pollution Control Board (PCB) regulations related to water treatment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize treatment processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in training new staff on operational procedures and safety protocols to maintain high standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Basic knowledge of water treatment processes and plant operations.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues related to treatment plants.
• Understanding of PCB regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

The STP & ETP Operator will work within a structured team environment, reporting to a plant manager or senior operator. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to address technical challenges and implement new procedures that enhance water treatment processes.
