Job description
About the role
Build, tune, and maintain high-throughput REST APIs and microservices.
Tasks
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade RESTful APIs and enterprise backend services.
- Develop asynchronous, event-driven architectures utilizing Vert.x alongside Spring Boot.
- Build database integrations and write optimized application queries using Cassandra Database.
- Integrate modern development workflows using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
Requirements
- 6+ years of core Java professional software development experience.
- Strong, documented hands-on capability in Spring Boot, Vert.x, and Cassandra DB.
- Proficient with modern Git engineering workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
- Local to or ready to relocate immediately for a hybrid schedule in Phoenix, AZ.
Schedule
- Contract.
- Hybrid: Min 3 days a week onsite from Day 1.
