Jr./Associate SDET

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Jr./Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who has a combination of hands-on coding skills and QA automation knowledge.

Tasks

• Developing software features and bug fixes
• Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
• Performing manual, smoke, and regression testing
• Troubleshooting defects and documenting issues
• Supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborating

Requirements

• 0–3 years of software development and/or QA experience
• Strong foundational coding skills
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to contribute to both development and testing
• Recent graduates, interns, co-op candidates, and candidates with relevant capstone projects are welcome to apply
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• C# / .NET / Object-Oriented Programming
• Playwright Automation (Highly Preferred)
• Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber
• Manual Testing & QA Automation
• BDD Framework & Page Object Model (POM)
• Azure DevOps Boards & CI/CD Pipelines
• SQL Server, REST APIs & ASP.NET
• Smoke Testing & Functional Regression Testing
• Agile / Scrum & SDLC
• GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools
• USC Only
• Local Candidates Preferred!

Schedule

• Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite Per Week
• 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
• 40 Hours/Week
