Job description
Jyoti Mishra is hiring a full-time Junior Accountant for its garments manufacturing operations in Howrah, West Bengal, India. This on-site opportunity is suited to an accounting graduate or early-career professional with 0–2 years of experience, including internships.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Process invoices and support accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with other departments to help ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Assist with audits and the implementation of internal controls.
- Organize and maintain financial files in accordance with company policy.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Accounting software proficiency; knowledge of MS Excel and Tally is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience; internships are considered.
