Junior Platform Engineer

Tasks

• Administer and support AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and Docker workloads.
• Support data platforms, including Databricks, dbt, Airflow, and AutoSys.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
• Monitor platform performance, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow and Jira.
• Support security remediation, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability.

Requirements

• Experience: 8-10 Years
• AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Kubernetes and Docker
• Databricks, dbt, Apache Airflow, and AutoSys
• Terraform and CI/CD tools (Harness, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
• Python, Shell, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
• Monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Splunk
• ServiceNow and Jira
• IAM/RBAC, security, patching, and disaster recovery
• Troubleshooting and production support
• Preferred: Exposure to LASR and Caspian
• AWS S3, Athena, and Kafka
• Dremio and SQL
• Infrastructure automation and platform reliability
• Analytics Platform System (APS)
