Job description
James Ito is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Web Developer / Junior Software Developer to join our growing remote team. This full-time role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. As a Junior Developer, you will contribute to building and maintaining responsive websites and applications that enhance our digital presence and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using HTML and related web technologies.
- Collaborate with senior developers to debug and troubleshoot design and functionality issues.
- Assist in implementing website enhancements and new features based on user feedback and industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and learning from peers.
- Work closely with project managers to understand requirements and meet deadlines.
- Engage in daily stand-ups and team meetings to report progress and set daily goals.
- Continuously update your technical skills through online resources and workshops.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bootcamp Certification in Web Development or equivalent training.
- Proficiency in HTML; knowledge of CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in web development projects, including informal or personal projects.
