Full-Stack Developer – Premium Dating Platform | NYC

Akadenia is seeking a Full-Stack Developer for a contract role with its premium dating platform in New York City. You will build and improve web applications that support user engagement and help people make meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using FastAPI and Nuxt.js.
• Improve application performance and manage PostgreSQL databases efficiently.
• Work with designers to build responsive interfaces with Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate WebSockets and real-time communication features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to consistent engineering standards.
• Debug issues and deliver projects on schedule.
• Document code changes, development processes, and application workflows.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional backend development experience with FastAPI.
• Strong PostgreSQL and database management skills.
• Experience with Nuxt.js and modern front-end development.
• Proficiency in CSS and Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time applications.
• At least 3 years of relevant full-stack development experience.
