Lead Fleet Mechanic/Master Diagnostic Technician

Tasks

• help build and lead the technical maintenance capability for our Class 8 tractor fleet
• solve difficult problems that other shops and technicians have been unable to diagnose or repair
• help build the maintenance department, establish diagnostic processes and standards, solve complex technical problems, and help develop the capabilities of the team

Requirements

• comfortable operating at the technical level of a senior dealership diagnostic technician and working across: • Peterbilt • Kenworth • Freightliner • Cummins • PACCAR • Detroit
• An exceptional troubleshooter and diagnostician
• Strong in electrical and electronic diagnostics
• Experienced with Class 8 tractors and modern diesel powertrains
• Comfortable diagnosing complex engine, aftertreatment, emissions, and drivability issues
• A self-starter who can help build something from the ground up
• Respected by other technicians for technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
