Lead Senior Software Engineer – Java

Tasks

• Lead critical production incident resolution and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Java-based microservices and REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot complex application, database, and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Improve application performance, stability, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, development teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Drive proactive monitoring, automation, performance tuning, and incident prevention.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical architecture discussions.
• Support business-critical applications through a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of Java Software Engineering experience
• 7+ years of Backend Development
• 7+ years of Microservices
• 7+ years of Java API Development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Experience with relational databases and distributed systems
• Cloud application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and incident management skills
• W2 candidates only
• Must be local to Orlando, FL
