Job Summary

Devcare Solutions is hiring a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver exceptional occupational therapy services in a long-term care healthcare environment in San Angelo, Texas. This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for assessments. Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for assessments)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Create and assess home-based therapy programs for effectiveness.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide clinical recommendations.
• Conduct skills-based competency training for healthcare staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and documentation.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to Texas Occupational Therapy regulations and professional standards.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) License in good standing.
• Current continuing education units (CEUs) required to maintain licensure.
• Good standing with the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
