About the role
At Canadian Solar Inc., CS Power Systems is working to deliver clean, solar-powered electricity worldwide. As a division of Canadian Solar, the company manufactures solar panels, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for daily execution of international and domestic shipping transactions and documentation, and arranging shipments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customs clearance paperwork for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and brokers through customs clearance procedures.
- Assign and schedule drivers, trucks, and carriers for daily deliveries and pickups.
- Optimize routes to improve efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor transportation activity and proactively resolve delays or issues.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouses, and customers; provide shipment updates and respond to inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain shipment records, including bills of lading, proof of delivery documents, and dispatch logs.
- Track shipments in transit and update systems.
