About the role
Greystar is seeking a Make-Ready Specialist - Cascades at Southern Hills to prepare vacant apartment homes for re-leasing. The role involves technical and mechanical work to turn vacant homes into market-ready condition that meets the company’s occupancy standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete needed repairs and improvements before resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
- Caulk and seal around windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
- Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it as needed.
- Perform touch-up painting in vacant and occupied units as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
- Help maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
- Support cost-cutting and expense-control programs by fixing rather than replacing.
