About the role
Confidential is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for a contract role supporting the design, optimization, and documentation of manufacturing processes that align with micro1’s RL environment requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to refine workflows.
- Analyze operations data to identify process improvements.
- Translate real-world manufacturing procedures into clear, structured information for simulated environments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to help ensure processes meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Assist in creating training materials and operational guidelines.
- Communicate status updates, participate in meetings, and adhere to project timelines and deliverables throughout the contract period.
Requirements
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering and manufacturing operations, with practical experience in process design, optimization, or implementation.
- Hands-on manufacturing experience, including familiarity with production workflows, quality control, and standard operating procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Training experience, including developing or delivering process-related documentation, work instructions, or training materials.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a contract-based role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data and process metrics to drive improvements.
- Understanding of or interest in AI, automation, and reinforcement learning environments is beneficial.
- A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
