Job description
Join a consulting engineering team in Memphis, Tennessee, as a full-time Mechanical Engineer. This role is suited to an experienced professional with HVAC design expertise, strong client-facing skills, and a current Professional Engineer (PE) license. Tennessee licensure is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities and qualifications
- Design HVAC systems and apply mechanical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
- Interact with clients professionally and contribute industry knowledge to consulting projects.
- Apply knowledge of building materials, construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Bring at least seven years of mechanical engineering experience in consulting services.
- Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license; Tennessee licensure is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate experience with Revit and CAD and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Use strong organizational and time-management skills and build effective professional relationships.
- LEED accreditation is preferred.
