Remote Medical Assistant Job in the United States

Jill Sherman is hiring a full-time, remote-eligible Medical Assistant in the United States. In this role, you will help deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care and support the efficient operation of a healthcare practice. You will work with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to support patients throughout their care.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and document patients’ vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and keep them clean and stocked with supplies.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by a healthcare provider.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Explain treatment procedures and follow-up care instructions to patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient needs and improve care delivery.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Required: Board certification in the relevant specialty.
• Proficiency in patient care practices and protocols.
• Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.

Work Arrangement and Reporting

This is a full-time position based in the United States and listed as remote-eligible. The Medical Assistant reports to a supervising healthcare provider and collaborates with clinical and administrative team members. Work location and remote duties may depend on the healthcare practice’s requirements.

Compensation

Pay: $95000 per year.
