About the role
Family Medicine Center PLLC is hiring a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a busy family medicine practice.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, review medications and histories, and document findings accurately in the electronic health record.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures, administer injections and immunizations within scope of practice, perform point-of-care tests, and coordinate referrals and lab work.
- Respond to patient calls and messages, provide education on treatments and preventive care, and help manage prescription refills under provider guidance.
- Help maintain a clean, safe clinical environment, support quality improvement activities, and collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
