Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

This full-time, on-site role in Ashland, KY is for a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supporting a busy family medicine practice. The team member will room patients, obtain vital signs, review medications and histories, and document findings accurately in the electronic health record. Daily responsibilities include assisting providers with examinations and procedures, administering injections and immunizations within scope of practice, performing point-of-care tests, and coordinating referrals and lab work. The role also involves responding to patient calls and messages, providing patient education on treatments and preventive care, and helping manage prescription refills under provider guidance. The Medical Assistant or LPN will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment, support quality improvement activities, and collaborate closely with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
