Medical Billing Specialist

Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in medical billing.
Experience in handling payer credentialing.
Proven experience in claim submission, denial follow-up, appeals, re-submissions, payment posting, and billing reconciliation.
Working knowledge of CPT codes, diagnosis codes, payment, and deductibles.
Experience using EHR systems and medical billing or claims software.
Experience handling primary, secondary, and tertiary payer claims.
Familiarity with EPIC, AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar medical billing platforms.
AAPC or AHIMA certification is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working independently.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Face-to-face training and nesting will be required.
