Medical Equipment Delivery Driver/Service Technician

About the role

Walker Home Medical is the only family-owned home medical equipment company in Bulloch county. We have been providing oxygen, CPAP, hospital beds, lift chairs, and manual and power mobility equipment to patients in their homes for over 20 years.

Tasks

• Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver medical equipment to patients' homes
• Set up equipment and teach patients and caregivers how to use it
• Pick up, clean, and service returned equipment
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment
• Keep accurate delivery and service records
• Respond to on-call needs for patients on nights and weekends, with additional pay

Requirements

• No experience is required. We will train the right person.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• No experience necessary; medical equipment experience is a plus
• This position needs to be filled right away.

Schedule

• Hourly

Pay

• Hourly pay, starting at $13 to $15 per hour
• Additional compensation for on-call time
