About the role

Alston Construction is seeking an MEP Superintendent – Electrical Focus to lead field execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with an emphasis on electrical infrastructure, commissioning, and energy safety.

The role includes serving as the Energy Marshal for the project and working with trade contractors, commissioning agents, engineers, and client representatives to support timely delivery of fully functional systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with an emphasis on electrical infrastructure, commissioning, and energy safety.
  • Oversee installation, energization, and testing of systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, BMS, EPMS, and other low-voltage controls.
  • Serve as Energy Marshal and enforce electrical safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO) compliance across energized systems.
  • Work with trade contractors, commissioning agents, engineers, and client representatives.
