MERN Stack Developer - Waxhaw, NC

TekBricks is hiring a full-time MERN Stack Developer in Waxhaw, North Carolina. In this on-site role, you will build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The position pays $5,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js on the frontend and Node.js with Express.js on the backend.
• Design and manage MongoDB databases.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend teams.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
• Help ensure application security and data protection.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization, including JWT or OAuth.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redux or Context API.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Experience with CI/CD.
