Job description
About the role
Maps Developer Platform team working on APIs, developer tools, and mapping solutions across the Apple ecosystem.
Tasks
- Design, develop, review, and implement developer APIs and tools
- Build scalable and reliable mapping solutions
- Develop and maintain features integrating Maps with the Apple ecosystem
- Collaborate with engineering, design, services, and data teams
- Translate client requirements into production-ready solutions
Requirements
- MapKit – MUST HAVE
- Strong Swift and/or Objective-C
- SwiftUI and/or UIKit
- System architecture amp; API design
- Production-level iOS software engineering experience
- Experience architecting, developing, releasing, and supporting critical software components
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Preferred: Unit testing / testable code experience
- Preferred: GIS / spatial visualization experience
