About Sanfour

Sanfour is hiring a senior, hands-on full stack engineer for its Accounting & Finance pod. In this role, you’ll build payment, billing, and invoicing experiences across the product suite, working across React and Next.js front ends and C#/.NET microservices.

What You’ll Do

• Design and ship end-to-end payment features, including invoicing, billing, hosted payment pages, payment methods, recurring billing, refunds, payouts, and reconciliation.
• Implement Stripe Elements, Payment Element, Checkout, and 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication experiences, along with the corresponding PaymentIntents, webhooks, and persistence.
• Build observable, idempotent, retry-safe payment workflows and ensure payment state is accurately reflected in the user interface.
• Develop payment capabilities such as Stripe Connect integrations, ACH and eCheck in the United States, PAD / ACSS debit in Canada, surcharging, and payment processing.
• Design reliable data models and workflows for trust accounting, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Help migrate firms from legacy payment processors to Sanfour’s unified payments gateway.
• Set a high technical bar through thoughtful code reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and influence architecture across the front-end and back-end stacks.

What You’ll Bring

• Senior-level full stack engineering experience with React or Next.js and C#/.NET microservices.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs, payment workflows, webhooks, and relational data models.
• Strong attention to payment correctness, reliability, and clear user experiences.
• A hands-on approach to technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-stack architecture decisions.
