Job description
About the role
drive network orchestration and software-driven fabric automation for our high-performance AI inference cloud.
Tasks
- develop the software layers and control mechanisms that program, orchestrate, and manage multi-tenant network fabrics at scale.
- writing automation, APIs, and provisioning pipelines that interface directly with disaggregated switch operating systems and host network interfaces.
- architect and implement automated EVPN-VXLAN overlays across high-density leaf-spine fabrics, enabling ultra-low-latency, non-blocking interconnects between large-scale accelerator clusters and distributed inference servers.
- own the end-to-end telemetry, policy enforcement, and programmatic lifecycle of bare-metal switches and server interconnects powering next-generation AI workloads.
Requirements
- Networking + AI(GPU, ROCEv2) + Software(Python)
- ONLY USC and GC can apply.
- proven experience from premier networking vendors, hyperscalers, or specialized GPU cloud operators (such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Nebius, or equivalent neocloud environments).
- deep hands-on expertise with remote white-box switch programmability (utilizing SONiC, open NOS platforms, gNMI/gNOI, NETCONF, or vendor SDKs) and software-defined control planes.
- demonstrated software development proficiency (Python, Go, or C++) alongside an authoritative understanding of EVPN-VXLAN, MP-BGP, RDMA/RoCEv2, and modern high-throughput fabric architectures.
