Job description
Hire Fast Hr Solution is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (Med/Surg Oncology) for a full-time, on-site role in Clackamas, Oregon. The Nurse Manager leads daily operations and supports high-quality, safe care for oncology patients in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Med/Surg Oncology unit operations and ensure care meets best practices and organizational standards.
- Lead, guide, and develop nursing staff while fostering teamwork and clinical excellence.
- Assess staff performance, identify development needs, and support professional growth.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage the unit budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety and care quality.
- Facilitate staff education and training.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
- At least five years of nursing experience, including two to three years in a leadership role within an oncology setting.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred; continued education and certifications encouraged.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and nursing software.
