About the role
Humble Design San Diego seeks a dynamic, empathetic, creative team member to design welcoming, personalized homes for clients living homelessness. This role supports the mission to provide dignity, security, and joy to neighbors as they begin the next hopeful chapters of their lives.
Responsibilities
- Design welcoming, personalized homes for clients.
- Direct and guide volunteers in a kind and communicative way.
- Move and lift furniture, boxes, and décor in a warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Be understanding and empathetic.
- Be resourceful and work with donated items.
- Lead with integrity and guide volunteers in a kind and communicative way.
- Be comfortable moving and lifting furniture, boxes, and décor every day in a warehouse environment.
- Past Humble Design interns and ASID members receive priority consideration.
