On-Call Designer

Overview
Humble Design San Diego seeks a dynamic, empathetic, creative team member to design welcoming, personalized homes for our clients living homelessness. This position is critical to the delivery of our mission to provide dignity, security, and joy to our neighbors as they begin the next hopeful chapters of their lives.

Commitment
• 21-24hrs during an install week
• $20/hr
• Priority consideration to past Humble Design interns and-ASID members.

Requirements
• Be understanding and empathetic.
• Be resourceful. Everything is donated; we work with what we have.
• Lead with integrity. Direct and guide volunteers in kind and communicate way.
• Be comfortable moving and lifting furniture, boxes, and décor every day in a warehouse environment.
