Job description
TekBricks is hiring an Oracle Developer in Waxhaw, North Carolina, to design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based applications and databases. This full-time, on-site role supports business-critical systems and is suited to an Oracle professional with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications.
- Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Tune database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries and indexes.
- Collaborate with application developers and business teams to gather and clarify requirements.
- Protect data integrity and security, and support backup and recovery processes.
- Resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, or 19c.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning, indexing, data modeling, and database design.
- Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Two to eight years of relevant Oracle experience; experience requirements may be adjusted.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports or Oracle APEX.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing.
- Exposure to cloud platforms; Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
