Job description
Joy Smith is hiring a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon in Toms River, New Jersey. This on-site opportunity offers an annual salary of $350,000 and the chance to provide patient-centered orthopedic care as part of a multidisciplinary medical group.

The multispecialty medical group provides comprehensive care across more than 20 locations in New Jersey and New York. Its services include orthopedic and spine treatments, conservative care, heart and vascular services, obstetrics and gynecology, and foot and ankle care. Physicians offer minimally invasive and robotic surgery, physical medicine, and rehabilitation, with a holistic approach to routine and complex medical needs.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Orthopedic Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions using appropriate medical and surgical interventions. You will consult with patients, perform orthopedic procedures, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with specialists to support coordinated care. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records and staying current with advances in orthopedic procedures and treatments.
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform orthopedic surgeries and other indicated procedures.
- Develop treatment plans based on patients' needs and clinical findings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Keep thorough patient records and follow current clinical practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in orthopedic surgery and orthopedics.
- Experience or clinical focus in sports medicine, joints, spine, or general and non-operative orthopedics.
- Knowledge of general orthopedic and sports medicine practices and patient care.
- Experience treating spine-related conditions, sports injuries, and joint disease.
- Demonstrated surgical skills and procedural proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions.
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Active medical license to practice in New Jersey.
