Job description
Seeking a dependable, compassionate part-time personal assistant and caregiver to support a 73-year-old woman who lives independently in Marina del Rey, California, and has significant short-term memory loss.
Schedule and compensation
- Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, including 4 hours per day on Saturday and Sunday and 1–2 hours per day on other days of the week.
- Pay: $30+ per hour.
- Location: Marina del Rey, CA 90292. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities
- Help schedule appointments and manage the calendar.
- Assist with shopping and errands.
- Maintain a journal and track medications.
- Drive to appointments.
- Provide help with computers and other technology.
- Handle light housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Discreet, trustworthy, helpful, kind, and patient.
- Flexible and easy to work with.
- Students or candidates with an interest or background in psychology or a related field are especially welcome.
