Pharmacy Technician – Spring Hill, FL

Atika Technologies is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Spring Hill, Florida. In this on-site role, you will help ensure patients receive medications accurately and efficiently while supporting safe, high-quality pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications according to physician prescriptions, verifying each order for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage inventory by ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
• Assist patients with questions and concerns using professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Work with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and medication therapy.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and assist with health screenings as required.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and pharmacy audits to support regulatory compliance.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience preparing medications and interacting with patients preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and medication management systems is a plus.
• PTCB certification or another industry-standard pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• One to two years of pharmacy experience is a plus.

Work Environment and Compensation

This full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician position is based in Spring Hill, FL. You will report directly to a pharmacist and work as part of a collaborative team. The listed pay is $45,000 per year.
