Job description
About the role
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a plasma operator to work with plasma cutting equipment in a physically demanding shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate plasma cutting equipment and monitor cut quality.
- Perform first article inspections and measure plate dimensions.
- Assist with grinding, loading, unloading, and moving finished materials.
Requirements
- Use measuring devices, grinders, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding shop environment.
- Previous plasma or oxy-fuel cutting experience is preferred but not required.
- Train on day shift for several weeks before transitioning to an assigned shift.
