Job description
Gbemisola T Sodiq is hiring a full-time Power System Engineer in Brisbane's central business district, Queensland, Australia. Join a collaborative energy team working to improve power system reliability and efficiency and support sustainable solutions for clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze power system models under a range of operating conditions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise for power system projects.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Assess power quality, including harmonics and voltage fluctuations.
- Monitor system operations and prepare technical performance and compliance reports.
- Help develop specifications and technical documents for power system components.
- Respond to client and stakeholder technical inquiries with timely, practical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; electrical or power engineering is preferred.
- Proficiency with power system analysis and simulation software.
- Three to five years of relevant power system engineering experience.
- Power system operations certification, such as IEEE or CIGRÉ, is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of electrical networks and components.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate complex ideas clearly.
Compensation and Employment
