Key Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate power distribution systems for projects, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards.
• Conduct power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, and transient stability analyses.
• Prepare electrical design specifications and technical documentation, coordinating with project teams to support timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot power system issues and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to project planning and execution, coordinating power system engineering activities.
• Meet with clients and present design concepts, technical recommendations, and project progress.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge through presentations and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Ideally, 5–7 years of relevant experience in power systems and electrical design.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ETAP, PSS/E, or similar industry-standard tools.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as CEng, IEE, or equivalent, are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Compensation and Employment

Full-time position with an advertised salary of 180000 per year. The position is based in Perth, Western Australia, and is not remote-eligible.
