Principal Agentic AI Architect

About the role

Lead AI-driven innovation and financial crime modernization initiatives.

Tasks

• Lead architecture and implementation of AI-powered investigation platforms and agentic workflows.
• Design AI solutions for investigator copilots, alert triage, risk assessment, customer screening, and SAR narrative generation.
• Architect LLM orchestration, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, guardrails, and observability frameworks.
• Drive cloud-native modernization, microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first platforms.
• Establish engineering standards, architecture patterns, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and production best practices.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
• Present technology strategies and modernization roadmaps to senior executives.

Requirements

• 7+ Years in Engineering & Architecture
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 7+ years of experience architecting and delivering large-scale solutions.
• 5+ years of experience delivering cloud-ready and cloud-native solutions.
• 4+ years of experience presenting technology strategies to C-level executives and large audiences.
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, technical leadership, and complex problem-solving.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience developing or deploying AI-powered tools, LLM-based automation, chatbots, or agentic workflows.
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience in financial services.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AI risk management, observability, and responsible AI implementation.
• Preferred: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
