Principal (FACADES)

TYG is partnering with a leading specialist consultancy that is seeking to hire a Principal to join its established Building Envelope practice in New York.
This is a senior leadership opportunity combining technical project delivery, client development and the continued growth of the firm’s NYC practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of complex new construction facade and building enclosure projectsProvide technical leadership across facades, waterproofing, fenestration, roofing and specialty enclosure systemsBuild and maintain relationships with major owners, architects, developers and industry partnersLead proposals, presentations and strategic pursuits for new workMentor and develop technical staff across the practiceSupport the financial performance, strategy and continued growth of the New York team
Requirements
10+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, design or a related fieldStrong background in new construction and building enclosure designPE, RA or equivalent professional licensureExperience leading complex projects and managing senior client relationshipsStrong understanding of facade and building enclosure systemsAbility to contribute to business development and practice growthPrevious experience mentoring and developing technical teams
