Principal Full-Stack Developer in Magalia, CA

Grove Vance is hiring a Principal Full-Stack Developer for a full-time, on-site role in Magalia, California. The position pays $120,000 per year. You will build and maintain scalable web applications, contributing across front-end and back-end development to improve product functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop features across the full technology stack, including front-end and back-end components.
• Build RESTful APIs and ensure reliable communication between client and server applications.
• Work with developers, product managers, designers, and quality assurance to define requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript using React, Node.js, and Express.
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices.
• Debug production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
• Follow relevant industry developments and identify ways to improve development processes.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, Express, JavaScript, and REST API development.
• At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Team and Reporting

You will report to the technical lead and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, designers, and the quality assurance team. The role involves participating in team discussions and sharing knowledge to support continuous improvement.
