Product Design Intern

Tasks

• Create wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes.
• Use Figma to communicate design ideas and refine interface concepts.
• Review user feedback and identify usability improvements.
• Apply accessibility and responsive-design principles.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on design handoffs.
• Document design decisions and present your work clearly.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate students, including upcoming graduates whose academic and work-authorization circumstances permit internship participation.
• Figma, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, accessibility fundamentals and user-centered problem-solving.
• Academic projects and a portfolio demonstrating your design process are welcome.
• Work authorization: CPT | OPT | Green Card | U.S. Citizen.
• Candidates must have work authorization valid for the internship.
• CPT requires prior DSO authorization for the specific qualifying opportunity; OPT employment must relate directly to the qualifying degree and comply with applicable authorization rules.
• Eligibility depends on the candidate’s circumstances and the internship program.

Pay

• Proposed pay range: $30 per hour
