Position:
The Product Engineer will lead completion of high-quality connector systems within agreed project timings based on company procedures and customer requirements. They will be formally evaluated by the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop connector systemsEnsure the competitiveness, practicality and cost-effectiveness of designs in accordance to timing requirementsWork closely with test lab to satisfy customer specifications for product validationDrive proper documentation according to internal standards/procedures, customer specifications and legal requirementsDevelop tolerance stack ups of the designed productProvide technical support to all internal and external customersProvide product training to all consecutive departmentsAttend Value Analysis / Value Engineering workshopsComplete projects assigned at weekly development meetingsUphold and enhance design guidelines
Requirements:
Willingness to travel abroadBachelor’s degree (4 years) in mechanical Engineering or related discipline2 years related experienceAutomotive Sector – OEM’s – Tier 1/2
