Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

About the role

Blue Signal Search is seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader to take ownership of second shift operations. The role leads approximately 20 to 25 employees and directly influences safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The listed locations are Brownsville, TN or Medina, TN.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the second shift production team through daily direction, coaching, training, and accountability.
• Stay closely engaged with day-to-day operations, dedicating most of each shift to hands-on support in the production environment.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, attendance, and key operating metrics.
• Assign labor and resources based on production priorities and adjust workflow as conditions change.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues, make basic adjustments, and coordinate additional technical support when needed.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and process teams to minimize downtime and maintain product standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve workflow, and strengthen shift performance.
• Maintain accurate shift records and ensure an effective handoff.
